The son of a Baptist pastor Dude was relocated to Louisville, KY at the tender age of 1 year old. Multi-talented and uniquely gifted, Dude was destined for success from his inception. After years of growth in the music business he developed Hitmakers Productions to give an opportunity to and provide a safe haven for artists who have the talent, but lack the means to develop that talent or produce a quality demo. With ten (10) years of music and entertainment industry experience, Dudes principals bring an experience-base and gift-mix to the table, second to none. It is this winning combination, together with keen business acumen that has given Dude his competitive edge. Dude made a decision later in life that a transition to a much larger city would catapult his career beyond expectation. That epiphany is what has directed him to the Ft. Lauderdale- Miami area. The move has also allowed him to combine Hitmakers Productions with his brother Wildman Teddy Ts (Power 96-Miami) company Street Hustlers Enterprise where Dude now serves as the Vice President of A & R and Artist Development as well as Founder/CEO of Hitmakers Productions. Along with Street Hustlers Enterprise, Dude possesses the skills necessary to deal with every aspect of entertainment consulting, marketing and promotions, music, movie and television scores, as well as, radio and television rotation placement and advertisement.Dude was developed in a local Louisville group known as X-tro-D-Naire which debuted in 1994. Since he has worked with several local acts including former Def Jam artist, Static; Motown artist, Black Coffee; KeKe Wyatt; and, Atlantic artists, Nappy Roots - to name a few. Dude also performed and wrote on the soundtrack for the nationally released movie Winner Takes All which featured artist such as Rappin-4-Tay, Cypress Hills, B-Real, and B-Legit. Winner takes All aired nationally on BET and BET Stars, and sold nationally in major chain stores. Dude has also worked with other artists including Choppa (from making the band), Lil Flip, E-40, Too Short, Pimp C, Tre-D, Athena Cage, B-Legit, Pimpin Ken, Domino, Luc Duc, Tantric, Duce Poppi, any many more. Dude has also had the privilege to travel to different places around the world and record in several studios in many states working with producers such as Jim Johnson (Lets Go, Do the Damn Thang, Grind With Me, Damn It Man), Kyle West who produced for Al B Sure, and Janard who produced several of the SWV hits. Those experiences have given him an opportunity to develop skills on major recording equipment and produce a top quality sound, only matched by few in the area. Well-known for his combined Hip-Hop and R & B background, Dude has explored other genres of music including Techno, Rock & Roll, and gospel. Dude is currently in the process of recording his first gospel solo album with Zeon Records out of Indiana.Dude also orchestrates the administrative management role for Hitmakers, which compliments his background in business management. Dude has traveled from state to state, building name recognition and an interest in the Hitmakers sound. He has leveraged his management training and business background to develop promotional materials and product distribution, which have given Hitmakers its professional advantage. His expertise in technical writing, songwriting, marketing, and advertising and, his people-skills have served to launch Hitmakers Productions to national proportions.Dude has since enhanced his writing, producing, marketing, and engineering capabilities. This has enabled him to expand his market range as far south as Miami, Florida and as far West as Los Angeles. He along with Street Hustlers Enterprise have had the pleasure of having songs placed in radio rotation in several markets which has resulted in a loyal following and a committed fan base in other key market areas such as Kentucky, Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, Washington D.C, New York, Texas and other contemporary urban markets. Dude along with his highly gifted production team and partners house their own multi-media recording facility. Equipped with the state-of-the-art Pro-Tools HD2 System, this aesthetically appealing facility serves the public recording and marketing needs.
