The first thing I'm going to do when I make enough money to have 2 cars at once is buy a DeLorean. Rest in peace John DeLorean!What about me? I consider myself to have very eclectic tastes which I credit to my eccentricity. For example, I'm a nerd who's having a "Quake Reunion" in 3 weeks, yet I follow Illini Basketball as loyally as anyone I know. I lived in Lincoln Park for 2 years acting like a yuppie, yet recently found myself at a race track in Joliet watching drag races with hillbillies. I'm pretty unathletic, yet decided to run the Chicago Marathon in 2004 for no other reason than I "lived in Chicago" and "thought it would be fun." Did pretty good too! Instead of late night Mexican food after the bars, I take my own cab downtown to XAIQA, my favorite 24 hour Indian restaurant since the Dept. of Health shut down Baba Palace. I have the most loyal friends a person can hope for and will miss them dearly when I head to South Carolina in Sept, except for the one that I'm meeting there of course. It will suck not seeing everyone, but I know we'll all meet up for Spring Break '07 in March. I think the destination is Mexico this year. My favorite band is one that nobody's heard of (They Might Be Giants) but don't think you won't see me at every Dave show. I hated reading and read 0 books in HS and college, but then decided that it was wrong and went back and read every classic book I missed growing up [see first blog post].I'm pretty stubborn most of the time, but that's something I'm working on for '07; however along with that comes inspired motivation to achieve what I want, regardless of how trivial, impractical, or impossible it may seem to others.*shrug* that's all I got right now."Throughout life, our worst weaknesses and meannesses are usually committed for the sake of the people whom we most despise." - Dickens
