I HATE "reality" television. It basically stands for everything I could possibly hate in the television industry. It does away with writers, actors, and directors and puts all creative power into the hands of producers. Producers like reality shows because they're cheap to make. Just grab any retard off the street and stick em in front of a camera and you've basically got a reality show. I'm hoping that the reality trend will go away soon. Then again there are plenty of you dumbasses out there who "think it would be so awesome to be on Room Raiders."
I am illiterate.
I'm an avid comic book reader. I tend to vote more Marvel than DC but a good book is a good book regardless. I'm a diehard X-Men fan and I kept up on most of the X-Titles. I also like Spiderman, the Flash, Batman, Fantastic Four, Avengers, etc. I read a good deal of non-superhero comics to. Some of my all time favorite books are Frank Miller's "Sin City" series. Any other Gonzo believers out there should check out "Transmetropolitan."
My favorite "real" book of all time is "Have a Nice Day" by Mick Foley. It's the autobiography of a wrestler, a damn good wrestler, and it is written without a ghost writer. That's right, a meat bag wrestler wrote a book ALL BY HIMSELF. It's one of the funniest, most interesting things I've ever read. I'm also a huge fan of "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card. This book is the reason I hate Harry Potter. Imagine a futuristic socio-political Harry potter book where Earth's most brilliant children are sent to "Battle School" on a space station orbitting the planet. It's a great sci-fi military sort of tale.
All those who have my respect. It's not an easy thing to get.
Dr. Hunter Thompson, Phil Hartman, Ron Burgundy, Mick Foley, James Arthur Madrox, and of course the big guy himself, Batman.
