I like a little bit of everything, pretty much anything you can sing along with or dance to and I'm there...Gotta love music with that bellydancing vibe, of course- Alabina, Darshan, Vas; I love the oldies but goodies like the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Dianna Ross and the Supremes, the Foundations ("Why do you build me up, Buttercup, baby just to let me down.."-Great song!), Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive", the Moody Blues; I'm really into PLAIN WHITE T'S, Jack Johnson, The Postal Service, Snow Patrol, Damien Rice, 311, Sean Paul, the Blackeyed Peas, Coldplay, Gorillaz, Usher, John Legend, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sublime; I'm not that into country, although I must say that the Rascal Flatts are quite good. I love their song, "What Hurts the Most," because it's beautiful. One of my favorite song lyrics of all time..."Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end"... Quiz: Does anyone know what song this lyric is from?
I love movies! I'm a big fan of horror movies, classic horror movies in particular, like Hitchcock's "Psycho" and "Vertigo." I also like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "The Ring," and "Urban Legends." I like comedies as well; "The Wedding Singer" tops them all, though, it definitely sits in my top 5 best movies of all time! Other great movies: "Ever After", "Love Actually", "Big Daddy", "Toy Story," "Finding Nemo," "Music and Lyrics," "Devil Wears Prada," and "Clueless".
I don't watch a whole lot of TV...but I must confess I do like to watch those cheesy dating shows like "Blind Date", "Exposed," and "Next". I also like to watch Scooby Doo and The Fairly Odd Parents. (I'm just a big kid, what can I say?) On a more mature note, I love the news show "Primetime," I'm addicted to "Medical Mysteries," and "Mysteries of the ER." Oh, and I'm a huge fan of "Sex and the City"!
When I'm not reading textbooks, I like to read all kinds of books; some of my favorites: The Great Gatsby, The Hot Zone, The Annotated Mona Lisa, The Bridges of Madison County, Premonitions, Do Fish Drink Water?, The Odd Body, Sherlock Holmes Adventures, and Strange but True
