About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorMember of Vinyl Dialect with Mr P aka Precise, Big O aka Olson and MG. SYM06 with Truth and DPF. Ipspit - Loads of Ipcity fuckos, check www.myspace.com/ipspit for more details . . .Was the founding member of EA Allstars but as of April 06 decided to leave - felt it had lost it's original purpose . . .Been writing lyrics, initially for other kids at school who wanted to rap, since 1989. Started writing for myself and freestyling not long after that. Didn't really wanna be an emcee, but couldn't afford decks, had got into graf around 1987 and everybody where I lived was into Run DMC, PE, Eric B & rakim, NinjaMan, usual stuff. Started playing truant to go and write ryhmes with KMC, an american emcee and slam poet from East St. Louis U.S.A who had settled in Ipswich and married a girl on my road. Did my first gig at a festival outside UEA in Norwich in 91. Met Precise aka Mr P in 1994 who DJed and we set up Vinyl Dialect. Olson aka Big O joined in 98. Had a tape of our second EP 'B-Boys Rock The World' floating about in 98, Bobbitto the Barber debuted on NY radio, Dan Greenpeace had a copy, signed us to Bad Magic and the EP came out in 99. 'Way Past Go' by Invisible Mics (Jubilant and Me) with my brother doing the beats came out on the Blindside records compilation Wide Angles around the same time. Did mad shows everywhere, went on tour, won the Scissortongue Championshipsin 2003. 'Ouch!' came out April 2003 and to everyones suprise Radio 1 jumped on it. Due to industry politics album didn't drop till April 2004 and with the one single release and a label that without Dan there anymore didn't know how to push us to a hip-hop audience it all flopped. Also appeared on Greenpeace & Yodas Unthugged with the Vinyl Dialect Prestyle. Also appeared on Serene Bug the Def Tex album and DPF's EP Still Flossin' released 2005. Anyways, started Ipspit! in October 2005 and now finishing second Vinyl Dialect album, Spit-Tape vol.1 and an album with my brother. There have been loads of gigs, battles, ciphers, collabos, friendships made and broken along the way but thats a brief history . . .
