What do goths do in the summer?

About Me

I do like a good lunge from time to time...
I like Mark Hymas, being half Polish, tall men with good hair and shoes, well dressed people, green tea, tatty devine, STEELY DAN, honest people, Alexa Chung, Coco Mademoiselle perfume by Chanel, the Cobrasnake, gingham, vintage and second-hand clothes, shoes and accessories (especially scarves - I have hundreds), dancing, stripy t-shirts, organic and fairtrade food, whippets, the pub, music, pop culture and fashion from the Sixties and Seventies, having squeaky clean hair, good manners, POPMASTER!, Mod culture, listening to The Shins when I'm in the bath and singing along loudly, hangover sex, cooking, sleeping, BBC 6 Music, Elvis, getting post (not bills), jazz festivals, avocados, lost weekends, puddle-stomping in my zebra print wellies, the sea, the smell of old leather jackets, back-combing, the smell of petrol, going to my Nan's for tea and the soaps, maya gold chocolate, my friends, trying to play the guitar and piano, ballet, train journeys, camping, good hair days, looking at old photographs, writing bad poetry, sushi, staying in bed all day and reading, gigs and festivals, vodka, lime and soda, reading to other people, seeing my friends in Brighton and London, afternoon tea with Laura in Browns, Saturday morning phonecalls from Jo, Mark's amazing record collection which has now taken over our flat, next door's cat, having a pint and watching Spurs down the Cat and Wheel.
I dislike rude, smug, fake and pretentious people, competitive and bitchy girls, bad manners, over-familiarity, hangovers, red meat, COPYCATS, boys that mess you around, Avril Lavigne, lateness, over-plucked eyebrows, seagulls, mental blocks, bad spelling, not being able to drive, people that don't bloody recycle, milk, size 0, my rubbish immune system, queuing, Tesco, the huge amount of money I owe to the Student Loan Company, teenagers, the Daily Mail, and people that don't know me shortening my name.
I'm scared of everything, especially people.
These are two of my favourite albums...

Jeff Beck circa 1965, cor blimey!!

Anyone who can play a mean game of scrabble.

Someone who likes doing the crossword as much as I do, who likes a good cup of tea, and doesn't mind the rain.
