Dash, well identified as an underdog has always been known to come through in the clutch. Although he still remains doubted by many, loved by some, and hated by few, he manages to look past distractions when it comes to making good music. Not only is he here to make good music but to be remembered, recognized, and appreciated.At only the age of 19, the Connecticut born producer is more than prepared to showcase his production to the world. Even though he is still in his beginning key stages of production, he has had the opportunity to work with numerous local acts including none other than the Clipse's very own DJ NO DOUT. With a potential musical background ranging from 70's Soul, 80's Classical Rock, to Country, he has taken bits and pieces from these genres, incorporated them into his own productions and has redefined the essence of music.Dash originally began pursuing his production career prior to his enrollment to 'Full Sail: Real World Education.' It was there where he participated in beat battles, open mics, and talent shows. While entertaining these tough crowds with his uniqueness, flare, and soulfulness, he enjoyed the love and reaction from the many people who attended these star studded events.While embracing his own new dream, he felt it was time to take it serious and share his talent with the world. Along with longtime partners - now managers/supporters in business - Adam 'AK the General' Leonard and Winston 'Pooh' Mathews, he plans to make an independent success story come true not only in production, but also in promotions, management, and labels. "I live and bleed music... You can ask anyone I know, I'm home-based - up in the crib making music... Fuck a party and a chick, she'll always come second to my first love, music!" says Dash. While still working with local talents, he has received love from people such as: DJ NO DOUT, Emilio 'Money Clips' of IMG, Kool G. Rap, Scram Jones, Frank Dukes, Gabo ( Mad Ciphas Mixtape ), and Mike Hustle (Big Cas' Manager). Even though he hasn't had the luxury of working with all of them, he has had the patience and persistence needed in being successful.His life story has been a rollercoaster ride full of ups and downs. Having had to attend an alternative school, he has grown mature. Now having his head on straight, he has plans to build a network and develop a resume most producers would dream of."I want to let people know that there is far more talent out here in Virginia then what you are seeing... It's not just Pharell and The Neptunes or Missy and Timb... Trey Songz and Chris Brown... there is so much talent that A&Rs look over... we have to be 10 times hungrier than the next person... because you guys are fighting for the same thing...
