Born in New York city in 1978, L Dot Deniro's artistic talents were evident at an ealy age. However hisearly life was overshadowed by the enviorment that surrounded him. L Dot Deniro was not immune to thelure of the street life but he found an escape through music and poetry. Despite seasons of hard times tocome, nothing could stand in the way of L Dot Deniro becoming a world reknowned artist.
In 1993, L Dot Deniro was given the opportunity to perform at the Universal Zulu Nation anniversary alongside artists such as Fat Joe and The Wu-tang clan. This opportunity only made him more hungry to join thegreats in the entertainment industry. While continuing to do live and televised performances at venues inAlanta, Washington D.C, New jersey and New York city L.Dot Deniro chose to pursue his education beforecontinuing his journey.
In 2002, L Dot Deniro returned with fire in his eyes sparked by the death of his aunt, whos last words tohim were "Do what makes you happy", He started a weekly open mic showcase with M.c Sole, Ace ofSpades and Mental Supreme called Training Camp at the now infamous Pyramid in New York city wherehe was blessed to grace the same stage as hip hop legends Percee P, CL Smooth, Truck turner and othersand Soulful thursdays in the Bronx which was set up for R&B and spoken word artists. The goal was tocreate an atmosphere that embodies the culture of hip hop and it was successful.
Now with close to one thousand shows , radio, television and live, under his belt, L Dot Deniro is notstopping. Expanding his new performances with artists such as Illflo, Stizz Aggression and other talentedartist, he is ready to finish pursuing the dream with his new album "Play the game til u control it!" set tobe released on Dec. 12, 2007, coincidently his birthday.
