Michael Rhodes aka "Mikey Mout" has been dancing for 16 years. Being a versatile dancer, at age 13, Michael added hip-hop to his dance repertoire. From that point on there has been no looking back. Michael's love for hip hop definitely showed as his performing career quickly took flight. Michael has toured the world to places such as JAPAN and the CARRIBEAN, opening for such artists as CIARA, FAT JOE, CHINGY, DESTINY'S CHILD, and LUDACRIS. Faculty member and long-time Janet Jackson choreographer, Gil Duldulao, was so impressed with 21 year old Canadian resident Mike Rhodes, that he offered him an opportunity of a lifetime. To everyone’s disbelief, Gil explained that his boss (none other than Janet herself) had given him the authorization to hire him on the spot. Janet also agreed to assist with Visa requirements to allow Mike to work in the USA.“He was soaking every bit of information given to improve. I was amazed at how quickly he learned the combination and made the routine his own. He’s proof that if you work hard, focus, and love your art, anything is possible. He could have been anywhere on a Sunday morning but he took the opportunity like Monsters and wowed everyone including me. I look forward to more opportunities to return the blessing that got me to where I am now."
