I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I like to think that I am a pretty chill person, sometimes I am chill to the point of being anti-social. I don't think that most people like me upon first meeting. I have a rather brash, smartass, and often abusive sense of humour which most people eventually like about me once they get to know me. I have been living in Hollywood for almost a year and a half now. I moved to this glorious city from Nashville, TN in late 2004. I was not fond of Nashville. People always ask me how it is there, and I tell them it is kind of like Hell without the interesting people. I moved to LA to persue my dream of being a professional guitar player. I have chosen a career that doesn't pay incredibly well, and I have chosen to live in a city with one of the highest costs of living. Pretty fucking stupid huh. I find myself in a constant state of poverty, but I couldn't be happier doing what I get to do for a living. So all you girls out there looking for a Hollywood trust fund kid can move on to another page now. You have come to the wrong place. I play lead guitar for an incredible country artist named Brian Stace(lived in Nashville for four years and never played country, moved to LA and joined a country band...a little too ironic). When I'm not on tour with Brian I play in six other projects in LA. I play with a blues/ singer/songwriter(the bitch I have to deal with) named V.K. Lynne. I play with two r/b artists, one named Dave Portal(really cool shit), and the second is Mr. Jazz and Soulmatik. I also play with a pop artist named Katie Bernstrom. Most recently, i have been asked to fill in with my favorite LA rock and roll band Bloodcat Love while they find a proper cat to fill the gig. I am quite excited to play with them because it's the only rock and roll band that I am a part of, and it gives me a good excuse to get wicked fucked and pretend that I'm Keith Richards for 45 minutes. Finnally, I play every Thursday with a rotating cast of some of LA's greatest blues musicians in Simi Valley (long drive, but totally worth it). When I get a night off from playing, I enjoy having drinks with my friends(Jack Daniels on the rocks if you feel compelled to buy me a drink), watching movies, cooking for large groups of people, and watching any sporting event------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------MARK AGNESI IS PROUD TO EXCLUSIVLY ENDORSE: FENDER GUITARS AND AMPLIFICATION, TAYLOR ACOUSTIC GUITARS, FULLTONE CUSTOM EFFECTS, LINE 6 EFFECTS AND GUITAR MODELING, VOODOO LABS, RADIAL ENGINEERING, MONSTER CABLE, PEDALTRAIN PEDALBOARDS, AND ERNIE BALL STRINGS. I CAN PLAY WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT, BUT I'M PROUD TO BE A PART OF ALL OF THESE MANUFACTURES' ARTIST ROSTERS. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE ARTIST RELATION GUYS WHO CONTINUE TO HOOK ME UP IN MY QUEST FOR KILLER SOUNDS.
