About Me

It's time to rewrite this thing, here goes:

I hate writing about myself so we'll start with the basics. My name is Louis and I've been interested in music since I was a kid, ever since I was forced into playing the violin. Looking back, my biggest regret is that I quit and didn't keep it up, but that's just details. I eventually picked up composition and started to create songs out of scratch.

This went on for two years before my good friend MTK introduced me to soul music. He'll tell you just how opposed to sampling I was in the early days, but with a push here and there, I eventually gave in and boom! Here I am today.

I might as well be in my 40s to listen to what I listen to, but there's something about that bossa nova and soul music. I can't deny their grooves. Anyway, I hope what I do speaks for itself and that you enjoy it. I try to keep what I used to do in line with what I do now, if you get what I mean.

Cheers,
Louis
