Crackdown!!

About Me

The madness and energy of the Jilted Generation have torn up venues in the UK in two different forms:
'Remedy MC' - Jason 'Maxim' Shorthouse leading a DJ, Drummer and Guitarist, performing across the West Midlands doing many nights in local clubs.
The band then returned to reform in early 2005 still including original member Jason 'Maxim' Shorthouse who's presence and vocal noise playing a huge part of the energy of the band.
Jase is now however not the only vocalist: 'Eddy' plays the role of 'Keith Flint' shouting at the crowd, spitting rasping lyrics and generally feeds off the music like an adrenaline junkie!
The noise is provided by 'Sparky', who was a local DnB Dj/Producer plays the role of Liam Howlett, blasting out the prodigy tracks and adding sick live noises and samples to the live show.
Drumming duties were carried out by Robin Powers on an electric drum kit but then left to go backpacking in New Zealand for a year. He was then replaced by Jason Nicholl, a longtime friend of 'Eddy' who won a scholarship to daily bash drums at 'Drumtech' in London. Robin has now returned with a new, Chromed-out acoustic kit that catches the stage lights very nicely!
Seano Porno was found. A guitarist of many years, he's had touring and recording experience playing in well known punk and hardcore bands such as Set Against, Freebase, Sensa Yuma and the delightful DOGSHIT SANDWICH!!!

The main objective of doing this tribute is to provide people with the full on Prodigy expereince and to look and sound as authentic as we possibly can. meticulous attention to detail is paid, from costumes to equipment and of course, the music. We've never been under any illusions that we could ever be as good as the real thing, and have a deep respect and appreciation for the original group, but we do pride ourselves on coming as close as you could ever get. Thousands of happy punters so far will also agree with that! Even former Prodigy live guitarist Gizz Butt said his guest appearances with us were "Like having a flashback!"
Create Your Own!
We are currently writing our own stuff which cheekily slips into the shows to test the reaction of the crowd!
The abundance of bands who don't provide enough energy in their live shows gives us the buzz to visually look like a nuthouse, perform the madness of the tracks, make people lose their minds and not give a fuck...
We just wanna rock it!!!
