Milan, city of beautiful women, catwalks and best soccer players. But there is more… In 1999 Blindfad is formed to put Milan on the map.Profoundly introspective lyrics distinguish them from your typical metal band. The sound is a mix between metal and hardcore. Some say Blindfad puts power and positive violence in nowadays pop music. Aggressive and powerful rock riffs combined with emotional screaming, touching vocals and haunting melodies, harmonious bass and a hard-hitting drum, gives Blindfad their own sound. It stands out from the mass.The band started performing live on stage in 2000. Now with even more then 200 live shows and still counting. Powered by different sponsors like Dirtbag Clothing (USA), Funeral Clothing (USA), Urban Warrior Clothing (Italy) and Ideas For Drummer (Italy) Blindfad is going strong. Shared the stage with the most promising Italian bands like Guilty Method, Out of Project, Browbeat, GF93, K-Again and YAK.With this energy and new learned skills they recorded a 3 tracks promotion CD in 2002, and a full album in 2003 called: Its safe looking inward. An interview as well as some of the new songs made it on Italian radio stations like Radio Rock FM and Radio Lupo Solitario with the appealing song ‘Embrace The Meaning Of Life’, which gives you a little impression of Simone’s insight in existence. Blindfad has built a good relationship with the core webzines around the world. Blindfad was band of the month (October 2002) on TUTTO MUSICA, one of the most important music magazines in Italy, band of the month (October 2002) on the NY webzine Digital Noise and two times band of the month on the Italian webzine Noize (November 2002 – November 2003). In the summer of 2002 Blindfad took part at the Italian Festival I-Tim Tour in Rimini, in 2003 they played with The Fire Theft (ex Sunny Day Real Estate) in Milan, in 2004 they participated in one of the most significant TV music program called Roxy Bar (Canal Jimmy - Sky) where Blindfad performed 2 live songs and made a brief interview.In 2003 Blindfad needed a new drummer after the departure of Manuel. The void of Manuel did not drag them down. With help of some friends, Moreno from Out of Project and later Sergio, for a temporary time on the drums they continued their activity. The next months Blindfad lived a great period gaining experience and a great fanbase. Despite the facts in 2005 they decided to take an indefinite break and take some time outside of the band.
