Noise Annoys Records

In 1994 I have booked a lot of shows and tours. Many of those bands like: Hellkrusher, Dirt or Rectify became popular in Poland and Czech republic but They have not had any releases available here. So I decided to put Their materials on cassettes here so thats how the label was born. I chose name Pop Noise as I wanted to put the bands which I thought they were interesting and played various kinds of alternative music (for example Bender from London). In 1998 I have released my first compilation CD called Porzucona Generacja. At this album I put the most important post punk, hardcore and new wave bands from my hometown which have played around mid of 80-ties. Thats how the retro series started later on called unforgotten records. Under the name of this sublabel I have released many polish punk, new wave and alternative classics like: Dezerter 'Underground Out Of Poland', Brygada Kryzys 'Live81', Abaddon 'Wet za Wet', Tzn Xenna 'Ciemny Pokoj', One Milion Bulgarians 'Pierwsza plyta', Aurora 'Miedzynarodowka', Apteka 'Menda' and many others. At the beginning of 21st century the cassettes market has finished in Poland. I decided to change the name of my label for Noise Annoys (I always like early Buzzcocks) as it fits better to what I like and release. My label does not only concentrate on the past but also try to put some new and active polish new wave and punk bands. Under the name Rebel Sound I released a lot of great 77 style, street punk bands like: Po prostu, Ramzes & The Hooligans or Bulbulators. Also I am very proud of releasing some of my favourite foreign bands like: Rectify, U.K.Subs 999 and Urban Dogs. Our recent releases are:- U.K.SUBS "Live in Bremen" DVD NOISE 055, -THE KUFLERS "s/t" NOISE 059 ,- BULBULATORS "Aut Punk Aut Nihil" NOISE 060, - BETE NOIRE "Art Brut" NOISE 061. Except of running records label also I am still booking shows and tours for foreign bands and artists in Poland. I had a pleasure to work with more 200 bands and artists for the last 16 years including such names as: Laibach, The Creatures, The Damned, U.K.Subs, The Vibrators, NOFX, Agnostic Front, Peter And The Test Tube Babies, KMFDM to name a few. Music became a major part of my life.
