Barry Blade (real name Wivian Armando Iacobucci) was born in November 3rd,1981 in Popoli(PE, Italy) and he grew up in Caramanico Terme (PE-Italy) until 1994.
His passion for music has started when he was six years old, when he received his first Bontempi keyboard.
Later he started playing the saxophone and in 1992 he started with drums.
In 1995 he played punk-rock music with his band called Frequenza Alternativa, founded by himself.
In 1996 he met a crew with his same passion for hip-hop and with them he founded "IL MALAFFARE" project; with his friend Edoardo, in the same time, he founded "L'ONORATA SOCIETA'", another band, and he printed his first album.
Better known, in that period, as Andy Calabrese, he participated to many jam sessions and hip hop parties, and he worked in a radio show called "BENVENUTO IN MIA CASA" as a speaker/dj.
Between 1998 and 1999 he worked as a reporter in WEEKEND E DINTORNI, a local show, leading an hip-hop space called 4 DIMENSIONI. Unfortunately for many personal reasons he left the music world, but in 2000 he decided to start again, changing totally his music preferences from hip hop to house music.
He bought his first MK 1200's and began to play house music in some clubs in Pescara.
His first live set was in 2001, at EVA KANT DISCO CLUB; then, he has worked in many other clubs(1926 Pescara, 693 HILLS Pescara, MOVIDA, Montesilvano, ACQUOLINA Pescara), but mainly in many one nights and rave parties.
In 2006 he starts a partnership with his brother Ivan Iacobucci. They created two labels: TRACKS4DJ.COM DIGITAL RECORDS , a digital label, and SMOKE JOKE RECORDS , a vinyl label. TRACKS4DJ.COM's releases are available on Junodownload, and soon will be on Beatport and on the most important mp3 store of the world; the first SMOKE JOKE RECORDS EP, "Smoking Area", available now in 12" in the best record stores.
Barry is also a member of the U-CREW , a group of deejays with the passion of electronic music, and he manages together with Dj Miki, Dj Zanfra and Dj Danny LoScippo the FREQUENCY PROJECT .
