He goes by the stage moniker of "SUPA.STAR"™. Raised in the Washington DC area, 22 year old, James “Jaye” Efferson is the next hottest rapper for Atlanta / New York to serve up. Hip-Hop has been in his blood since the tender age of 9 and his talents has been rising to the occasion ever since. Having won more than a few freestyle rap battles in high school – then, Suitland and Bladensburg, DC is where "SUPA.STAR"™ learned to go hard and find his mark on the battle scene. Those successes gained him fame in the neighborhood and gave him focus to pursue a rap career. Influenced by artists like Jay-Z, Notorious BIG, Tupac, Big Daddy Kane and TI, James was able to shape himself and find his own style.

“Good Morning America” a mix-tape medley made strictly for the underground is one of the many projects "SUPA.STAR"™ blesses his smooth talents on. He is also in the process of completing his self titled album “I Will Not Lose,” written by Jaye himself. The album has tracks like “Candlelit” produced by super producer “Soundz” – The Southern style up-tempo track talks about the love-scorned woman who is afraid to relax her standards; afraid of sparking the fire of love with any man that steps into her life. “She Fine,” produced by “ChinaBlack” is a track definitely needed in the clubs today – a head banger with pop influence polished with a smooth edge. The lyrics value women, their beauty, and self-worth and consider their wants and needs. Every woman and man could appreciate a song like that. “Get Money” which is also produced by ChinaBlack puts a real spin on the game. The track is not your typical drug game, get street money hustle – it gives a hidden message of business deals, smart investments and making real paper; having no barriers in success! The skies the limit if you permit it! Jaye is diverse and authentically pleasing to the ear. His album is promised to have a strong underground fan-base and street credibility.
