Chantel~I stand on my own~

My name is Chantel White, I am a Singer, and a song writer. This is who I am and this is what I do. It is my passion. Ive traveled a road that has given me the makings of what will be my story, one which I will tell for the rest of my life, through song. I have to thank some people who are very special to me. GOD, FOR GIVING ME THE GIFT OF SONG. I LOVE YOU LORD. To my parents, Ramona & Anthony Pope, I can never thank yall enough for saving my life,helping me through some of the most important and trying times of my life, guiding & walking with me through my decision making, as well as loving me which enables me to grow into myself. You both brought me into what I needed the most, a true and FUNCTIONAL family. Mommy I never thought I would get back what I thought I had lost forever, A MOTHER.. I LOVE YOU. To my father Gary White Sr., thank you for raising me in the way you did, I wouldnt have wanted to be better than what I saw growing up if you hadnt. And last but without a doubt not least I have to thank those who sparked the fire in my heart to pursue my talent and dream. To Azia (derrick williams) and Jason Davis I couldnt be more blessed to have a God that saw fit to place you both in my life. You supported me through difficult change and nurtured my growth. You gave me confidence and insight to this industry. I love you both dearly and cant wait to work with you both again. In my eyes we truly are a family, one that has been broken and put back together again, plenty of times, but never any less than, only stronger. AND STRONGER WE WILL BE. Whew! Now that I said that, here's an introduction to Chantel. Im the young woman that used to annoy my siblings by singing my own song with headphones while in the car with a radio playing the jam of the day. I sang my whole life but only to myself. I only dreamed of being known for the gift God had given me even before I existed. I played the violin from the 6th grade until I graduated from high school, which would become my catapult into the family of music that I am destined to be a part of. My story is so far from it's end, and I am eager everyday to turn the next page. At this moment I am continuing to write my music in amazment of how it evolves as I grow. I'm planning the biggest move of my life which will give a foundation to the empowerment that I deserve. MY OWN. This is my life, for now and my biography will change as my story does. Thank you for listening, and I pray that I be able to reach others through my music when given the oppurtunity to & that they grow with me as I grow with my music.
