About Me

ATTENTION BANDS: Project Rockstar is a great place to promote yourself and build a fan base. It's also a very cool place to hang out. Check us out!
www.ProjectRockstar.com is an award winning on-line game and community designed and programmed by kerb . Based around the world of music making and management, each player takes the role of a band manager whose ultimate goal is to generate the most profit through the production, release and promotion of songs and albums from their bands in the hopes of climbing the music and manager charts. Every manager starts with 50,000 which can be used to create a band and hire members. Once a band is created, music production can begin. Throughout the game bands can write songs and albums, play gigs and promote themselves and their music. Managers will also occasionally have to deal with situations bands find themselves in. Some are good, some are bad and some depend on the choice you make.
Although the music management game is the basis of the Project Rockstar experience, the website also includes forums of which hundreds of topics and thousands of replies are posted every day. It has its own mailing system where managers can talk privately, and an address book which allows managers to keep track of others. The address book can be used to easily contact friends and can also be used to keep track of rivals through the charts.
Since its launch in February 2002, Project Rockstar has become a well known website, attracting over 100,000 managers from all over the world.
This movie graciously provided by the insane genius that is Darcy Taves, PR manager Cletus.
