/////Hi my name is Russell William "Rusty" Wallace. I was born on August 14, 1956 in fenton Missouri. Well, This is how my career went...I ran my first Winston cup race in the 1980 Coca-Cola 500 at Atlanta. I won the "1984 Rookie Of The Year Award". I won my first race in 1986 at bristol. In 1989 I Won my first and only Nascar Winston Cup Championship. In 1991 I won the Iroc Championship...all in all it's been a fun ride. I walked away from driving with 706 career starts, 1 championship, 55 wins,202 top 5, 349 top 10,and 36 poles.Now im partnered up with sportscenter and i broadcast the IRL series. I own a Busch series team and my son Steven Wallace will be coming up in the Nextel Cup Series shortly.
