About Me

I like profanity, profundity, sleeping in, cleaning my ears with cotton buds, vegemite toast, my swag, comedy, the internet, water, friends, the dents on my car, new oil in my engine, backing up freeways after I've missed the turn-off, toothless smiles, angels...
JIMBO'S RESUME
2005/2006 - Toured Australia and South Africa.
2004 - Left Sydney for a life on the road touring his 'Big Night Out' comedy show.
2003 - Ended his record breaking three year residency (for a weekly comedy show) at The Albion Hotel, Parramatta with a gala show at The Riverside Theatre.
2002 - Went on two tours to East Timor and one to the The Solomon Islands to entertain the Australian Army Troops (as an MC, comedian and clown at the orphanages)
2001 - Performed the first ever stand-up comedy show for children at The Melbourne Comedy Festival. Appeared on the VB television ad campaign (three guys on a couch)
2000 - Stand-up appearances on television included The O'Loughlin Show (ABCTV) and The ComedeyChannel (Foxtel)
1999 - Performed his first 'open mic' at The Sydney Comedy Store before becoming a feature act six months later. Ran a placegetter, in the annual 'Sydney Comedian of the year' competition.

1994 - Ditched the corporate life to run away with the circus and become a full-time clown. Attended 'Clown Camp' at the Universiy of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, USA. Became the first Australian to be accepted into the Ringling Bros & Barnum and Bailey , 'Clown College' at Baraboo, USA.
1990-1993 - Jimbo moonlighted as a clown and walkaround jester act in niteclubs (namely Jacksons-on-George) while completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree (UNSW) and 18mths as a copywriter at Young & Rubicam. To book Jimbo or for merchandise enquiries - Mobile: 0411333349 E-mail: [email protected]
