I am pretty much lost in 60's.......both music and lifestyle. I am a Christian, and believe Jesus is coming again to take me home. As Gary S Paxton once wrote and sang, "....a funny thing happened on the way to hell, I got saved, saved, saved."I have many friends ask me if the Christian life is worth it, and I can only respond by quoting Andre Crouch "if Heaven never was promised to me, nor the hope to live eternally; it's been worth just having the Lord in my Life......living in a world of darkness, He brought me the Light."As I have grown older, I realize more and more how important a strong faith in God is. The world is changing so much, and I see prophecy being fulfilled everyday.I have been in sales since 1982, and I am currently in retail sales, selling outdoor items, like spas, and barbecues. My various sales positions have enable me to see the United States, and experience many locales. Along the way, I have made many friends. My main regret is that I have not been diligent in keeping up with them, but do plan to renew old acquaintances as much as I can. That's one reason I signed up to Myspace. If you want to more about me, and my interests, please email me.

My Interests

I am an avid collector of vinyl records (lp's and 45's...or small hole and large hole), as well as baseball cards. To relax, I enjoy fishing, golfing, and watching sports and old movies on TV. One of my favorite hobbies is to barbecue, which I also do as a profession. Check out my pictures occasionally for meats and food that I have barbecued recently.

I'd like to meet:

Billy Graham, Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Richardson, Henry Aaron, Gene Pitney, Connie Stevens

Music:

I enjoy all types of music, and am an avid record collector of 40's - current music. My favorite would be 50's & 60's music, and contemporary Christian music. I started collecting in the mid 60's, and have accumulated a vast collection of pop/rock, and early Christian rock music. Each of the above songs have special meaning to me. Ask me about the song if you see one you are curious about.

Movies:

My favorite movies ever are the following: Shane, To Kill A Mockingbird, Chariots of Fire, Star Wars, Back to the Future, and any of the Indiana Jones movies. My favorite actor is Jimmy Stewart, and my favorite actress was Katherine Hepburn.

Television:

Most of the shows I watch are older shows, such as MASH, or TAXI. If I watch television, I usually have it on a sports channel, or on FOX News. I love Fox & Friends in the morning.

Books:

I love biographies, and Louie L'Amour westerns. I also enjoyed The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Hobbit. I first read them in the early '70's, and am currently rereading them again, although not as fast as I did back then.

Heroes:

Billy Graham, and my parents, both prayer warriors.

My Blog

Paul Davis

Don't know if many of you remember who Paul Davis is, but you should remember his songs. I Go Crazy was his biggest hit. '65 Love Affair, Sweet Life, Do Right, and Cool Night were his other big hits. ...
