I go by the name of Chris "P.O.P.LIFE" Conley. P.O.P. is an acronym that stands for "people of poverty". My songs reflect my name and the situations that I've been raised under. I've been doing my thing on the music scene (rapping, singing, performing) since I was in 6th grade. I've been a part of the greatest music group in the Mill-Town, the legendary Growing Nation, for 10+ years; performing across the country in places such as New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Martha's Vineyard. We've shared the stage with national artists such as Angie Stone, India Irie, Master P, Isley Brothers, and Talib Kweli; just to name a few. My goal in the music industry is to create a mainstream awareness of the plight of Black folk comin' up in the hood. Yeah, we may be behind in our WE Energies bill and late for work, but it's all for a reason. And I'm here to explain those reasons. So, I hope you can feel the message in the music we present to you. 1 hundred!
