About Me

Hello. My name is Ryan. I am being forced to grow up, though I will fight it kicking and screaming. I am on a quest to make the perfect mix CD. If you ask for one, I will make you a mix (or maybe three). I am getting married on August 16, 2008 to wonderful woman. I also just bought a house and am completely nervous about the whole process therein. I work in a lab that tests toys and other consumer goods to see if they meet government safety standards. It's pretty neat.
I've had to take a break from being a musician (carpal tunnel - both arms), but I am planning my triumphant comeback via electronic music. I'd love to find a band (or just another person) to rock out with. I've played in over 300 concerts, from acoustic folk to noise rock to progressive hardcore punk, to the College of Saint Rose Masterworks Chorale. I've put out seven albums and many more EPs.
I will probably offend you. I like meeting new people. I burn bridges, hold grudges and have been known to call out people in my blog (like some sort of retarded five year old). I don't think before many of my actions and I end up hurting people unintentionally. I am in love with the work of David Lynch to the point where I am beyond comprehension as to exactly why I love it so. I am an insomniac. I also hate the fact that there's only one space after the periods on my profile. You've been warned.
Check out last.fm. It's pretty cool. Here's what I've been listening to this week:
