About Me

Steve is a 30 year old songwriter-guitarist-singer from Troy NY who has been on the scene since February 2005. Facing reality doesn’t have to be bad

I've come to realize something about my lead guitar skills: unless I practice, I suck. Pure and simple. Now to some this might seem like common sense when taken on its own, but sometimes you have to l...

Here it is, the last new song of 2007. Hope you enjoy it. ~~~~~~ VERSE: You once ruled my life With humiliation and your barrel chest Sticking out so proud, alpha male of the in-crowd. There were so m...

My Acoustic Savior

I know no one will give a damn about this, but I finally traded in my acoustic-electric Ibanez for an acoustic-electric Washburn, bought from good old Parkway Music (voted 1 music store in Metroland's...

Looking Up

Things are going really well at the new job. Vanderheyden already feels like a distant memory...no offense to the handful of coworkers that I miss there. The band is going good too. Got a decent acou...

Minor Change to My Page

Those of you who pay attention may have noticed my profile here no longer lists the CRAM show for December. Is that because it got cancelled? No, it's because I will be playing that show with my band....
