About Me

retro layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com The A to Z survey...A - FAVE BRAND & COLOR OF APPLES: Cox ...they're easily the best type of apples. I hate those supersweet red ones. Or failing Cox, Granny Smith.B- BOXERS/BRIEFS/BIKINI/BOYCUT: On men...boxers...have to say I do own a pair for mooching round the flat in. But generally I've outgrown my teenage penchant for thongs and moved on to boycut.C- CHRISTMAS IS: Patrick Stewart in the Christmas Carol on TV....my house all lit up and magical...hoping against hope that it might snow south of London once in my lifetime...too much food.D- FAVORITE DANCE: Oh....dunno....my boyfriend's pretty fun to watch.E- VIEWS ON EUROPE: English people's intrinsic xenophobia is pretty frightening...not helped by the Daily Mail's blaming of every unpopular ruling on the ubiquitous 'Brussels' (a place which I'm pretty sure doesn't exist outside fevered editorial imaginations...) Generally Europe is a good thing, but not something we could hope to play any decent part in while we continue to believe modern languages are an optional educational extra.F- FRUIT IS : Not as good as chocolate...but nice blended together in smoothies...and only half a weightwatchers point each! (except those damn bananas)G- GIRL & GUY FRIENDS: Best girl friends....Pip, my best friend in the world and the first person I call when I'm sad...Sezzy, my oldest friend (a video exists of us aged 2 watching the Royal wedding and waving mini union jacks) ... Roz, the crazy lady who I had so many travelling adventures with through Eastern Europe ... Rowbie who I miss every day ... and lovely Bex - dammit woman why did you have to move to Melbourne?! Boys... Lecky, the best housemate ever who always makes me laugh and appreciates the importance of tea...Stuart, who despite being one of the rudest people I know, is highly amusing in our morning 'fresh air' breaks and still very loveable, Ian who may be a proper model who jets off to the Caribbean now..but I'll always remember him as the very camp ugly sister in the school panto aged 10, Tim who helped me so much when I first joined Trent...and who I have so much fun chatting to I miss my trains...and flatmate Nik who makes me tea and crumpets when I'm hungover and feeds my poor neglected fish!Me and Stuart on his birthday...H- HATRED VS ABHOR: Neither...no-one's ever annoyed me that much. Plus isn't the opposite of love indifference?I- RANDOM 'I' FACT: I once sat opposite Peter Kay on the train and chatted to him for several hours...not knowing who he was. To be fair it was seven years ago, before he was that big...but I think he was still pretty insulted when I asked him what he did for a living.J- CURRENT JOB: Broadcast journalist...reading the news on the radio...and interviewing minor celebrities (on a good day) ... talking to crazy locals about their bin collections (ba...no wait...MOST days)K- KINKY THINGS U LIKE: It's not kinky...but I love rubbing material between my fingers...it's an age-acceptable version of thumb sucking.L- THINGS I FIND LOVELY: Tidy rooms, cups of tea, showers when you're really cold, nice text messages, babies, fizzy sweets, clean bed linen, the smell of my boyfriend's aftershave, murder mystery stories, water when you're really thirsty, interesting stories about Nottingham on days when I'm reduced to bin-collection news!M- MASSAGES: ...are a good thing...except the one Roz and I had in Istanbul from a terrifying obese topless woman....that was strange.N- THING YOU'D DEF SAY NO TO: Murder, caviar blinis, gimp suits, quiche, an appearance on Big Brother, married/taken men, heroin, a job on daytime TV.O- OTHERS THINK I'M: Too nice for my own good...or "The Bitch" (evil enough to deserve capitals - thanks luv!) Neither's true, obviously.P- FUNNIEST/FAVORITE PICK UP LINE USED OR HEARD: It's not a pick-up line, but my first boyfriend at uni dumped me with the words 'I don't really want a girlfriend...all I want is someone who'll tell me how good my arse looks in jeans'. Fortunately he shaved his head soon afterwards and we realised it looked scarily like a testicle, so I was clearly well out of that one.Q- QUIET: Is not something I get to appreciate often...given I talk for a living...but sometimes it's nice.R- THINGS U DO TO RELAX: Tidy, paint my nails, watch sex in the city, text my friends, call my mum for a chat, put a face mask on, drink tea, read Heat magazine or a newspaper, mess around online.S- SEX IS: ... far more fun than my Catholic upbringing led me to believe...and strangely enough, never dull with the right person.T- TODAY'S PLANS WERE: Do lots of work so we actually have some stories for the morning, ring my mum, sort out the weekend.U- UNCLE SAM: ... is sadly misguided.V- LAST VACATION: to Scarborough with boyfriend and his crazy friend Phil and girlfriend Michelle..really beautiful place...W-WISHES MADE: Nice man, great job, size 8 thighs...first two sorted, but if I complete all three I'll have no point to my life...so they're not there yet.X- XRATED THING U'VE DONE: Nothing I'd admit on this website...everyone reading this who knows me will know most of my sordid past anyway.Y- YOUR PLANS FOR TOMORROW: Give blood, go to work on time, go round to Stuart's for tea, write my boyfriend's mum a thank-you letter and send my brother his Playboy calendar...which I nicked from work.Z- ZZZZZsss [AKA YOUR BEDTIME IS]: About half eleven...and woe betide anyone who tries to keep me up past three...I do have a habit of falling asleep on my feet or anything vaguely approaching a flat surface...I was once found fast asleep on top of the speakers in Ocean.Powered by MySpaceSurveyFun.com
