I am here for Friends

About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

It's May!Unbelievably I'm still a producer in one of the biggest and most-respected radio stations in the country - 96 Trent FM in Nottingham. When I'm not doing the best job in the world I like to get out. Cos let's face it, how many self-respecting guys do you know who want to watch Trisha and This Morning? This year I've already managed to get to Manchester, Chester, London, Canterbury, Dover, the Peak District, Birmingham & Somerset. In the next few months I'm jetsetting round the Costa Brava, going round South and Central Wales, heading North to Edinburgh (my favourite city in the world), flying to the Netherlands.Noises Off & Annie are all on the list before the year's out. Oh, and a few days at the Edinburgh festival. And I still have 14 days of holiday to take this year! There's plenty of stuff to fit in on top, like walking in the brilliant Peak District, going to the theatre and - most importantly - catching up with a load of friends who are now dotted across the country. And when that's done maybe I'll sleep.

Oh so help me... Those twins are possibly the creepiest thing ever to happen in life. Ever. Everyone else is either (a) old; (b) attractive but thick as pig poo or (c) clinically insane. I will ...

Things that annoy me very much

When my phone is ringing and I don't want to answer it because I know it will involve a conversation of at least an hour, do not under any circumstances answer the phone on my behalf. Not even as a j...

Real People from Kazakhstan

I met some real Kazakhs yesterday. Unsurprisingly they aren't like Borat at all. Except the guys I met were on a special programme to "benefit" their "glorious" country. No joke. Kazakhstan see...

New Picture of Me

My friend Kat - possibly the best thing to come from Haywards Heath - told me my picture was scary. So I have changed it, mainly in her honour but also because I was getting fed up with jokes that I ...

The Benefits Of Public Transport

My friend John - Events Manager extraordinaire - has recently lost his ability to drive his car by driving it, well, shall we say "a little too efficiently". German-stylee if you get me. Sadly over he...

AAAAAAAargh

I just wrote a blog and myspace deleted it. Myspace is - temporarily - evil. It was about how boring the FA Cup final was, how Tricky and Al just about stayed awake during it and how by the time I got...

"Sometimes the bird flies from the nest and does well. Sometimes the bird falls to the ground, smashes its head, spills its brains on the floor and dies. It learns to try better next time."

Manchester and Edale

Yesterday (Monday) I mostly visited Manchester. This is because 1. About a zillion people told me that they were amazed that I had never been there; and 2. It gave me a chance to ride possibly my...

Walky Woo

I'd just like to say that when you put a building site in the place of where a footpath should be, that will not stop me walking through your building site. I have wonderful walking boots, two legs an...
