About Me

It all started in the late 90's. The Baboon tried to merge all his influences into one sound, but always wanted funk to be the center of attention in his tracks. Since August 2001 The Baboon project officially began, after years of producing beats, creating atmospheres for television and doing remixes for a couple of norwegian underground artists. With a love for different genres The Baboon tries to produce both laidback and upbeat samplebased music with a sound that's best described as if 60's easy listening, 70's funk, 80's electro and early 90's Hip Hop had a foursome and nine months later The Baboon was born.
