About Me

I think I am a pretty laid back person. I am always down for a good show. My family and friends are the most important thing in my life. I drink too much when I go out. If we met at a show, chances are good I won't remember you. Don't be offended.

My Interests

Music, family, friends, a good book, anything entertaining, laughing, shopping, shoes, fashion, my animals, an interesting conversation, psychology, sunflower seeds, my husband (I love that man!), the color pink (especially mixed with black), learning (yet I HATE school), making up my own words, religion, nachos (I am addicted to them!), serial murderers (as in watching a show or movie about them. Very interesting!), beer, playing devils advocate (no matter my view on the topic, I will choose the other. That creates a FUN coversation!), tattoos, the ocean, vintage items, snakes (I HATE them!), old cars with fins, pink anything, Mexican food, photos, cherries, the smell of gasoline, snow skiing (have been since I was two years old, need to get back into it), spring, fall, the smell of winter/the end of fall, rain (as long as there is no wind), sun (as long as it isn't too hot), babies, flowers (all types), staying up all night talking about whatever with my husband (usually religion, or some very interesting topic), air conditioning ( I DO live in Sacramento afterall), dinosaurs (such a neat word even!), spelling (don't get me started), life as we know it conversations (usually linked to religious conversations), new hairdos, the color red, animals in general, sleeping (probably my favorite thing to do!), dreaming (the best), the internet, proving people wrong (as in a good debate, not fighting), tiki, organization, chaos, Patsy Cline, painting, creating things from clay, the perfect bangs, the perfect scent, meows (I love cats. I really miss my Smurfette, aka the coolest cat ever), bananas (they are really good for you!), yogurt (only vanilla), purses, Johnny Cash, a good merlot (most red wines as well), garlic stuffed olives, garlic (I am addicted, cooked or raw. I prefer cooked), king sized beds (I wish I had one), crying (the best way to relieve stress), my "me time", people watching. I hate having the hiccups, and discussing politics or religion with anyone but my husband.

I'd like to meet:

I love meeting new people. Love finding old friends. I hate drama, and I don't need it in my life.

Music:

I LOVE music. Almost all types. Almost. I am very eclectic when it comes to my taste in music. My favorite? That would be....Patsy Cline. It really doesn't get much better! I am also a huge fan of Guns and Roses. I don't know what it is, I just love them.

Movies:

I am a huge fan of movies. I am not too big on "scary" movies, in fact I hate them. However, Seth, makes me watch them. I do LOVE the Saw movies. Weird. I prefer comedies.

Television:

I have a thing for Friends, Sex and the City, and Nip Tuck. Oh, and Rescue Me, is a great show. I love it. CSI, is my new favorite.

Books:

I used to read. I think that Dean Koontz books are a lot of fun. I like that, "oh, what's gonna happen next" kinda feel. It's sad, because I don't read anymore. It seems I am too busy, or what I call lazy. The last book I read...I think...was, The Hobbit. That was a good book. I just never finished the set. "The set" being The Lord of the Rings. I can't understand my funk with not reading. I am sure it will be a matter of time before I get back into the swing of things...

Heroes:

I feel like it sounds so cliche to say my parents, but it's true. They are wonderful people who have made me the person I am today. With the right choices they became something great. I cannot leave out my absolutely fantastic step-mother, she has been there as long as I can remember. She is a mother to me. I must say my step-father has provided me with guidance that has been much needed as well. My parents, all four of them, are my world and my heroes. Also, my husband. If you have ever heard his life story, you would understand me on this one.

Good sign?

So, I just realized that I haven't had any horrible wedding disaster dreams lately.  Yay.  Everything is starting to come together.  This pleases me.

Oregon

I am sooo glad to be home.  We went to Oregon for the weekend to see Seth's dad.  I enjoy going up there to see him, but it is good to be home!  I don't think I could ever live up there...
