About Me

11x17 Magazine

Published in black and white on a double-sided, single sheet of 11x17 piece of paper, 11x17 Magazine is the new impulse item for young culture forecasters. Delivered by guerrilla tactics (hand-to-hand and conspicuous forgotten packages), the free magazine provides a quick, monthly look into the on-the-verge aesthetic of gotta have it music, art, fashion and everything in-between.

11x17 seeks talented illustrators to contribute to the magazine. If you (or someone you know) is interested, please email hello at 11x17mag.com with a link to your online portfolio or 3-4 images that depict your style.

The Fight! Project

Fight! is the story of women who grew weary of waiting for change to come to their communities and decided to impact their own lives through active participation. A mix of first and third person accounts, Fight! hopes to serve as a blueprint for other women and girls who are mad and angry with the substandard living conditions women deal with globally.

Find out more about the Fight! project at www.thefightproject.org .

History Repeating Its Self

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined." - Henry David Thoreau"Once social change begins, it cannot be reversed. You cannot uneducate the person who has learned to read. You cannot humiliate the person who feels pride. You cannot oppress the people who are not afraid anymore." - César Chávez“Well-behaved women rarely make history.” - Laurel Thatcher Ulrich"We must become the change we want to see." - Mahatma Gandhi"Through this world in which I travel, I am endlessly creating myself." - Frantz Fanon"One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar." - Helen Keller"You'll be sort of surprised what there is to be found once you go beyond 'Z' and start poking around!” - Dr Seuss"They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself." - Andy Warhol"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness -- all foes to real understanding. Likewise, tolerance or broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in our little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain
An Ordinary Girl, Doing Extraordinary Things

In my dreams I am a highly evolved rockstar. In reality I am just highly evolved. A culturalist and jill of all trades, I am currently pursuing life as a freelance art director, copywriter, editor & journalist.I also hustle my talents as a publicist, manager & rep for visual artists.
Currently developing a handbag & apparel line to feed my hunger.
I'm always interested in new clients, collaborators, creations & opportunities. It's never too late to be what you might have been.
