Xtreme Concepts

Xtreme Concepts was founded by Cisco, Jameso, and Dave in August of 2002. Before launching the club we did an extensive web/magazine/show search to make sure no others were using the same name. With the name unused we designed the logo and launched a revolution. Note: For those who don't know, the Xtreme is a modified version of the Orion Xtreme Logo used on their audio products since the 90's.
In our beginnings, the club was designed by and for the husbands of millitary wives stationed in Hinesville, Georgia. We were all into modifying our vehicles and competing them at local shows. After numerous awards we gained recognizition as a powerhouse in the Southeastern Show scene. As with every successful organization, more people wanted to be involved,and we began to accept new members outside our original ideals. Before we knew it we had 10 members, then 20, then 30, and just kept exploding.
We held Saturday meetings in the Radio Shack parking lot of Hinesville, and competed at every show within a 2 hour drive. Be it a little show in the cow fields of Vidilia or a big show in Daytona, it didn't matter. Every show was a chance to showcase our hardwork and dedication to the scene.
Around 2004 we got to the point where we were to big for the small town of Hinesville to handle, and the hating began. We were constantly harrassed by local law enforcement and issued numerous tickets for bogus infractions. We were forced to relocate weekly meetings even after receiving permission from all plaza shop owners to use the lots. Cars were impounded and we were even labeled as a gang by local authorities. We were not a gang though, and did not engage in any form of criminal activities. We were simply a group of automotive enthusiasts who shared the same basic passions and commitments.
Even through all the drama we pushed forward and continued to grow. As some of our millitary members began to get stationed at various posts, we let them start new chapters and gained worldwide exposure. Each chapter shared the same basic logo, but slightly modified for their chapter. Some succeded and some didn't. Some are still around today. We even recruited hundreds of members through our website with year long member kits. Note: Our logo is recognized by the backwords Xtreme, which when viewed through your rearview displays correctly.
2006 was a hard year for the whole organation and our associates. We tragicly lost two members (Dave RIP)(Mikey RIP)and our Founder/CEO Cisco stepped down his position. On top of that over half of our organization got deployed overseas. Jameso stepped up though and carried us into 2008.
In March of 2008 after a meeting between Jameso and Cisco it was decided to release all chapters and give Xtreme Concepts to the World. What else was there for us to do. We had helped to revolutionize the Southeastern Car Scene, won hundreds of awards, franchised Nationally, raised money for charities, and overcome every obstacle put in our path. After breaking barriers and setting trends for over five years it was time to move on.
