Jaco Pastorious used the phrase formally self taught. I taught myself to read music, bass and treble clef and studied books on theory and scales and harmony. I still Practice every day and learn everything I can. Now I teach to help support the income. Play 100- 150 dates a year for the last 15 years. No matter how bad the music business sucks I still find peace in Playing.Order our cd at thhttp://www. abookyouwant. Thats all for now.
