I lived in Southern California most of my life. I also lived a few years in Europe; Germany, Belgium and Spain, and lived a couple years in Maryland. From my teen years on, I have been hanging around musicians and artists in Southern California, and going to gigs, clubs & parties.Among other jobs, I have been a make up artist and chef. One day I plan to have my own restaurant and B&B.
I love to cook. I enjoy wine tasting & exploring new restaurants.I love my family. I love my friends. Sometimes the lines blur and they are the same thing. I have some phenomenal people in my life. I am quick to trust, but am a bit of a skeptic sometimes. Once I love you I will probably always love you, even if we lose touch for years.I don't like drama or mean people. Pretentious people bug me. I don't like phonies. I don't like users, or people who play mind games. I try to give the benefit of the doubt to people, but burn me twice and I will drop you like a hot potato. I may or may not call you on it, but I will stop calling. I don't have time for it.I can be upbeat and silly, other times I am all business. I can be dark and melancholy, particularly late at night, even though I love the night. I am acutely aware that when it comes right down to it, we are all alone. So I strive to be surrounded by love, hoping it sinks in deep enough so that I can forget this. I am part punk f-you, part old Hollywood manner & grace and part hippie-save-the-world. I tend to be drawn to people that are creative or ultra-organized. I don't like conflict, but refuse to take any shit. I guess I am really a Pisces, always extremes; and trying to balance it all.I am Italian and proud of it.I am crazy about Old Hollywood & L.A. Movies, Music, Art, Architecture, Fashion - All of it! Sometimes I go for drives just to look at old buildings and houses. I love flea markets & shopping for antiques. I collect antigue cat figurines.I am into British comedy. Python, Izzard, Sellers, etc... I love pubs - good ones. I love watching the light head on a Guinness slowly drift down into the dark bottom of it only to disappear. The first carmel-y burnt taste of it reminds me of summer days with my husband, listening to Shane McGowan, Squeeze & Chris Issak.I love being outdoors, but I hate sports. Next to family and friends, music & cooking rate next. And animals. Nothing can make me laugh or cry faster. Lost pet signs haunt me for weeks, even months. I can't tell you how many wild birds we have saved or tried to save. One of my cats I rescued from the wild, and bottle fed.I care and worry about our environment. I hope that we can all do our part to save it. I believe that you get out of life what you put into it. I marvel at how ugly people can be to each other, and am gratified to see how good they can be.I want to make a difference, and have a good time while I am here.I am 72% Punk Rock.
