Bothersome. Trash Mafia. Way Cool Jr, Take The 5th

About Me

Bothersome started in Sydney in the early part of this millenium and ended not much later. We constisted of Danny Widdicombe, Alison Procter and Graham Ashton and played a handful of shows in with the likes of Mick Thomas & The Sure Thing and Professor Ratbaggy. This was pretty lucky due to the fact that Paul Kelly, Tim Rogers and Mick Thomas seemed to be the main influences. As you can here it is kinda very folk music but despite the fact we were an acoustic band we still liked to think that Bothersome was full of punk rock spirit.Of the four songs, The Last One and The Romance Of The Gutter are taken from the one and only Bothersome album "It'd Be Rude Not To" which was released in 2001. The other two "Beside Myself" and "Something Else Instead" are Way Cool Jnr songs that were recorded in 1992 and released on various Brisbane band compilations. As this is myspaceashomusic, I will include information about all of the bands I have played with over the years. This includes Bothersome, GK & The Trash Mafia, Way Cool Junior and Take The 5th. There is plenty of people from these bands with whom I have lost touch who I would love to find.In case anyone is interested, I work behind the scenes in music and am happily married to my best mate jane with a magnificent son joe (named after joe strummer) and his extrordinarily cool little sister, abbey.I am bordering on obsessive compulsive and and I am obsessed about my family and friends, music, surfing and rugby league and pretty much always have been.a couple of particularly great things happened last year. our little girl abbey has arrived and queensland won the state of origin. good as gold!Keep smiling and bye for now. cheers asho
