About Me
^Check Them Out!^
A lot has happened to Dear Whoever since their inception in 2003. Lineup changes, broken vans, non-stop touring, and everything that comes with being part of a professional band, have shaped the groups character and music; which is reflected by its maturity, insight, and solidarity.
In 2005, the band self-released their EP Sound the Trumpet and later rereleasing it on Broken Line Records. With little distribution, and limited ad space, Dear Whoever have been able to push 7,000-plus copies via touring and internet sales alone.
Dear Whoever has shared the stage with such acts as Chiodos, June, Armor For Sleep, Lorene Drive, This Providence, On The Last Day, A Day To Remember, LoveHateHero, Fall Of Troy, Inked In Blood, and many others during the past few years. They have also been a part of the Vans Warped Tour in 2005 and 2006, playing the Ernie Ball and Smartpunk stage in their hometown of Portland, Oregon.
The band is currently in the process of writing and pre-production of their Full-length debut, which will be released in the fall of 2007 on a label yet to be determined. They have been working heavily with producer Steve Carter (Aiden, Himsa, On The Last Day, Cradle Of Filth) and mixer Kris Krummett (Drop Dead Gorgeous, Anatomy Of A Ghost, Kaddisfly). Look for Dear Whoever on the road from April through the rest of the year.
