Bassline started in Seattle Washington back in June 1992. It started as a small production company offering Artist Management, Studio Production, Promotions, and booking. Bassline Productions was responsible for the closed auditions for Star Search in 1994, held at a studio on Capitol Hill. Capitol Hill is the place where Boradway is located, the same Broadway that Anthony Ray AKA Sir Mix-A-Lot was talking about in that song lol. Just an FYI, if you ever go to Dick's Drive-in, like he talks about, don't be shocked when you see a lil shack lol. But the fries and shakes are BOMB!!! Anthony grew up with an ex of mine so yeah I know a lil about him lol.
Bassline Productions was also involved with many other ventures, artist showcases in conjunction with BMI and ASCAP, as well as the large scale event "Young Expo '96" held at pier 48 in Seattle with the scheduled headlineing act "West Side Connection."
Bassline has found a new home in Phoenix and a new purpose. The future is bright and our goals are high so keep an eye out for new waves to be made in the industry with the BASSLINE stamp on it! Ciao~
