Born in 1977. Grew up listenin to my father sing gospel in the church. He was a musician. Hip hop started for me in '85, listenin to great artists like LL Cool J, Kool Moe Dee, Kid N Play, Salt N Pepa, Rob Base, Dougie Fresh. They really influenced me on what hip hop was really about. Seems like, at that particular time, being an mc was really being an mc. There was no beefing, it was good competition with real hip hop music.
