This is a question that tripped me up in an interview years ago. I can definitely say Jimmy Carter and my cousin (probably 30 times removed) FDR. I was also fascinated by Helen Keller; I can't imagine overcoming such sensory deprivation let alone becoming well known and successful. I also find a lot of inspiration with Dita Von Teese making burlesque and fetish mainstream.
