About Me

Toronto based U.R. Recordz was founded in 2004 by Urban Renegades group members Dre Money a.k.a. Big Freeze, and Mo-M'z a.k.a. The Streets Poet.
More stronger than ever 4 years later into the music business, U.R. Recordz is still sticking with its initial vision to look beyond the current trends of Pop Culture, and urban music, to provide the type of revival hip hop and all urban styles of music alike are in need of at this time. The firepower to accomplish such a vision is on hand with hot, up and coming T.Dot artists such as: Jester K9 and Lynxx, along with the highly anticipated talents of Mo-M'z and Dre Money, as well as a great team of business/talent managers.
What started up as simply a way for a rap group to have more freedom and keep ownership rights to their music, has now turned into a professional corporation, that encourages all young talents in the city, to get on their grind, and make things happen to pave the way for future Canadian urban acts and help bring forth a true culture of Hip Hop that is universal any place you go. Teamed up with the Stop The Violence project, U.R. is letting it be known that young people have to start living up to their true potential, and work on making a positive difference in their communities. Put Down The Gun, Pick Up The Mic, and Let Your Voice Be Heard! Donâ€™t end up becoming just another statistic, help provide inspiration to future generations.
With your fan support, U.R. Recordz will be able to reside at the forefront of Toronto and all of North America's Music Entertainment scene. This will allow us to further discover and bring forth talents that will change the face of The Music Industry and Pop Culture, and create more opportunities to expand into an international music force, and help the growth of more visions, more dreams, more hit music.
