I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hello, my name is Leif Bodnarchuk. Yes, that's my real name, it's a mixture of Icelandic and Ukrainian, but I must admit I know little about either.
I'll work for your band or fix your gear, just don't ask me questions like "what's the best flanger?", "what's a flanger?" or "how long is the ferry?"
I prefer to work for dedicated musicians only, not wannabes or hacks with 80s and 90s attitudes.
If you've ever used words such as "downsizing" or "edgy" in any other context than jest, please don't contact me.
IF YOU'RE IN A BAND AND YOU NEED SOME HELP OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE, PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE, DON'T JUST SEND ME A FRIEND REQUEST.
I'M NOT INTERESTED IN PROMOTING YOUR BAND UNLESS I KNOW YOU OR LIKE YOU. THAT COULD GET EMBARASSING.

My Interests

Music:

After so many years, I will revert to my original three main courses... Dead Kennedys, The Primitives, The Wedding Present. A HUGE salad of Green Day, a generous portion of Darling Buds, a gallon of AC/DC, a few quarts of Ween, a jug of The Cure, a couple of pints of Mojo Nixon and Reverend Horton Heat, a glass or two of Van Halen, a few tipples of Led Zeppelin, Madonna and The Hives. And no night could be complete without some cocktails of Superchunk, The Vandals, Spinal Tap, Motörhead, Little Richard, The Donnas, Goldfrapp, Duran Duran and of COURSE, any band who employs me.

Movies:

Exorcist, LOTR, porn, John Waters' films, just about anything with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell.

Television:

Saturday Night Live, Trailer Park Boys, Family Guy, Simpsons, South Park, Chapelle's show, Alan Partridge, My Name Is Earl, League Of Gentlemen, The Office (not familiar with UK version)
Shows my wife likes, so long as I'm really really high....

Heroes:

War Veterans

This is my first blog in a dog's age. Nothing much is happening, except I am doing some "man's work" in the basement of our house. I'm making a play room and I'm doing it almost all by myself, so the ...

Flake

We were kinda high on the bus last night and were reminiscing about the Cadbury's Flake ad; more to the point, we were mocking the theme tune. Do you remember it?Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolat...
