Looking back at the past years and tracing the steps of Smallman, we realize that the road to this first album brought us something more than the pleasure of creating music. Through it every one of us discovered our own recesses and spaces, it made us look for our own place, to realize our strengths and weaknesses. Smallman was taking his first steps timidly and uncertainly but we did not let him fall, we believed in him and, we are sure, he believed in us too. And he did not mislead us. Looking for the right direction, he was learning, getting to know the world and soon he alone chose the path to take. We cannot predict the end of this journey, nor do we want to do so. What we do know is that the journey is only just beginning and it is up to us to make it, whatever the future holds. After the appearance of Smallman we are more confident in ourselves and believe that the five years of our modest history rest on a firm foundation. From now on what is left to us is to try to keep the already created, to add new dimensions, to enrich our ideas, to bring to life a more exciting reality, the sound of which, we hope, will reach many of you. We, the creators of Smallman, are left with the joy of these first steps and we wish him a long and exciting journey.
