I am here for Friends

About Me

Well lets see...I just graduated college from the University of California Santa Barbara, and couldnt feel better. I moved back L.A and am hopefully going to employed very soon. It's really good to be back at home, but I know deep down I will miss a lot about college. Well moving on to my more interesting qualities,I am a child at heart, the people close to me know this very well. I appreaciate complete honesty, and feel its a lot harder to get than you think from people. Every morning I wake up, groan, get an energy drink (orlatte when i'm spoiling myself), and buy the trashiest mags out there. This woul dbe called my hang over ritual, so I'm hoping I DONT do this every morning.I love to read classics, as well as new books and fill up my mind with more to talk about, becasue lets face it, I LOVE TO TALK. I play piano and love to draw and paint when I have free time to,and lately I have all the time in the world. I absolutely love watching movies, especailly horrible horror movies, classics, and anything good thats worth seeing. I'm an aspiring movie buff, but still need some work.I absolutely love discovering new music, and anything that goes in this category. I read somewhere once that poepl that say they love everything but country really dont like anything at all, and are meaningless music fans, so I wont drop myself into that feild. My family sailed on a ship from Russia years ago and have lived in the U.S since the late 70's, which explains my heavy russian accent.Well I actually am the first born in the U.S of my family, but they are a very interesting bunch. My life goals are still pending, but I think I might try this whoel social worker, making a difference kind of schtick. I have always had this need to help the world, or do something worth contributing, so until recently I really discovered how much I truly want to pursue that without false hope. If everyone really knew what the educational gap in the U.S really was, it would scare the shit out of you, trust me. I just want to make my mark is all, and hope one day I can by either teaching or doing something worth writing about. Until recently I really learned how lucky I am to have the people I have in my life. Sounds cheesy I know, but i'm only close to a select few, and they are my heart.I try not to use these people as a crutch, but lately have needed them more than ever. I love good wine, easy women, dutch ovens, and cheap cologne. My favorite drink is a kettle one dirrrty..yes three r's, thats what makes it really good. But I will admit that I ama sucker for girly drinks as well, so no more laughing when I order mudslides. I love anchorman, dane cook, lamps, diet cokes, doughboys, and the food network. I love people that dont beat around the bush, get straight to the point, unlike me (unless I've had a few).I love dry ears, downtown, sleeping late, eating healthy, losing in quarters, having MO-jitos at Basix, tripping over myself (which occurs more than you think), laughing, making others laugh, making ridiculous statements when i'm under the influence or sober, and driving drunk (joking). WEll if i left anything out its not that important, so ya this is me, in a nutshell. oh and I can never turn down chris' grandmothers brownies, so keep em coming frit.

My Interests

art, piano, marc jacobs, clothing I cant afford but chose to think I can, love spending time with my best friends, saving the world one day at a time, trying new things, going to new places, reading good or bad books, finding new music, finding new films, finding new reasons to keep waking up every morning, alex and charlie gordon :), venice beach on a warm day and then melrose when the sun starts to set, traveling, doughboys after a night of binge drinking, books, trashy magazines, food network specifically iron chef Flay all the way man!..oh yea one more interest: booting black tar heroin.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet numerous people in my life...everyone i admire musically would be amazing..but more important would be the people that make a difference in this world. I used to have names of all the musicians and actors I would love to meet, but I think besides just saying that I met them, they really would not hold true ground with me. Well I guess I take that back somewhat because I really would love to meet a few musicians and actors thats have inspiring me and contributed to the world. It's pretty hard tihnking of all the poeple I would truly want to meet, i'm sure there are thousands,so until I can compress it into a little space for people to read, ill leave it blank with names.
