In late 2005, lost and confused, broke and sexless, A-Fo and Josh Soon formed feenixpawl. With a mystical mystery DJ name, feenixpawl have since showed their passion for performing at events including: We Love Sounds @ Metro, Bimbo Rock @ QBH, Ministry of Sound: Sessions Tour @ Room680, One Night Stands III / IV / V / VI, and on the Disco Sluts Tour (2006) in Melbourne, Byron Bay and Gold Coast. Playing at such events has allowed feenixpawl the opportunity to support many of their heroes, including: Dj Falcon (Daft Crew), Stonebridge, Boys Noize, Alan Braxe, Tiga, Spiritcatcher, Sharem Jey, Sneaky Sound System, Soul Avengers and D. Ramirez.
In 2006, feenixpawl started remixing and producing. Their collaborative genius was manifest when their remix of ‘Pure Shores’ – All Saints, was placed on regular rotation on Nova100.
More recently, their skills have been recruited by Gerard Sidhu (Little Rascals) to remix his track ‘The Music’ which will be available for purchase shortly.
Still broke and sexless but oozing enthusiasm, feenixpawl will no doubt find themselves less lost and confused on the road to stardom.
