OK well you asked for it! Coffee and conversation, laughing loud and often, singing (only by myself in my car), cooking), making movies (just the homemade kind), writing, taking photos, (NO not of me!) being present, movies, figuring people out, loving, making progress, making someone's day, random acts of kindness, music, poker, playing guitar (I use the term "playing" very loosely), creating the perfect day...or night, walking barefoot on wet sand, dancing for no reason, making love, laughing at you...and laughing harder at me, learning, vodka (NOT a beer girl sorry), going somewhere, art, the long quiet pauses with someone I love, late night phone calls, beaches and motorycles, a great book, building relationships that will last forever, people who get me, and making people smile, especially when they don't want to...
People with an open mind, a sense of humor AND adventure, in no particular order. I guess I am keeping my eye out for THAT special guy...I don't casually date much, but a refreshing outlook from someone who is both an adult (IE: over 30) with a dose of kid-ishness(is that a word?) would sure do me some good. Age is not really a factor (unless you're younger than me, then it IS a factor), out look on life is, & internal maturity. My type...hmmm don't really have a cookie cutter made out for that but I like guys who are GUYS, who aren't hot headed but that can brawl if called upon. I like a guy to hold my door & chair, & who will be gentle & brush my hair at night before bed. I don't like sports much, but I can love a guy who loves them. I do like activities tho, skiing is my fav. I go to Big Bear every year with my brother & his family & sometimes my friends. I like small things, intimate things, not necessarily always sex, just closeness that comes from 2 people really knowing each other. The list is way too long. Everything except screaming death metal. And slow jazz. ugh.
Again, too long a list. It's a much shorter list of what I don't like (cheesy horror flicks). For anyone who does NOT love Chevy Chase & similar laugh out loud comedies, don't talk to me.PS. I'm that person in the movie theater that laughs too loud when no one else is laughing.
I really only like to get into a show or 2 (like Lost or Heroes) when I'm with someone. Right now I'm not, but I watch the shows anyways. Snuggle buddy anyone?
Just read The Political Ploys of Lincoln, who I think was the best Pres ever - it was thick & good. Um, I didn't mean that to sound gross. I am exploring the Bible a bit right now too just to see what all the fuss is about...pretty cool so far.
My grandmother.
