Dj Flip hails from the Philipines. Since being in the United States his music stems back playing the 45's listening to the Bee Gees in the fith grade class. From there, the old school hip hop, freestyle and all the 80's music was just banging! Dj Flip and the breakdancing crew was always going to the skating rink because of the music and would always battle anyone in breakdancing. Dj Flip's passion for music was just off the wall, espeacially, listening to Mr. Frank Ski every weekend. From there, Dj flip started to practice playing with the two turntables and the microphone. :) Finally in the mid 90's, Dj Flip bought himself a studio. Some of the inspiring musicians or producers that kept Dj Flip going are; Dj Self, Bobby D and all of his chicago gang, Huda Hudai, Dj Tragic, Dj Fix, all the old school like, Afrika Bambata, Ice T., Kool Mo Dee, Run DMC., The Fat Boys, all the turntablist like, Dj Craze, Q-bert. Journey, Chicago, AC/DC, Prince, and if i forgotten anyone, much shout outs!DJ FLIP BREAK THE BEAT LIKE THIS!!
