To all the prospects and supporters, and anyone interested in PADM/NYDM membership:PADM East is the proud Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of NYDM.
The NEW YORK DEATH MILITIA is a proud supporter of all forms of heavy metal, death metal, black metal, thrash metal, hard rock, power metal, industrial, and well – you get the idea! But even more than that, we’re a family who supports each other. We know our brothers and sisters and would do anything within our power for them. It is indeed the ultimate family.
If you are interested in becoming a PADM and or NYDM member, DON’T ASK TO BE IN! We have been HAMMERED with people asking to be in, and we REALLY APPRETIATE all of your support! Thank you all very much!!
Unfortunately there are people out there that just want the nifty NYDM title by their name but don't want to fulfill the requirements. NYDM is a brotherhood/sisterhood. It's a commitment to your brothers and sisters, a commitment of respect and support. You can check all the myspace sites of all the NYDM members and supporters, join the groups and learn what NYDM is all about. If you still want to be an NYDM brother or sister the next step is to get to know us! Derrelikt and Goddess Pandora are controlling the PADM chapter. That would be a great place to start! Get to know them and the other PADM members, attend shows, events and gatherings with them and show the NYDM that you want to be a part of our elite family.
Now the next step is the most simple. You have to be ASKED in! So if you show up to events, meet the NYDM family, show your support, and show us that we can count on you, we will ask you in! We're not saying that it’s tough to get in! We're looking for people, especially in the PA chapter! But just like your own personal family, you wouldn’t invite someone in there that’s just along for the ride, or someone that you can't trust, right? We all know that the underground music scene needs the help and support of the people who love it, and without our support, the scene will suffer. Listen, we all have our own lives. We all have our own reasons to be who we are. NYDM is not only there to support the music, but each other as well. We are family! I will do whatever I can for my NYDM Brothers and Sisters! This is why we’re here. Above all is the respect. We all respect one another, the NYDM, and everything it stands for. If you want that kind of love and support, then you have to be able to give it back.
