"Throne of Stone" was created in early 2006 by Paolo and Jake with the main objectives of playing brutal metal with some haunting atmospheric touches and to try to achieve their own sound rather than just doing what everybody else is doing.
After trying out a few guitarists with no success a mutual friend hooked them up with Drazjan Milkovich (formerly of Nottingham doom merchants Druul) who turned out to have the perfect skills and attitude to help achieve the desired results.
The first recorded output by this unholy alliance was unleashed in mid 06 in the form of the "Where is your Saviour Now?" demo which received positive reviews from the underground Metal scene(see blog) and even had Throne of Stone hailed as "Artist of the Week" on Fearless Radio.com extreme Metal show "The Wolfs Den".
The next chapter is now manifest in the form of "Caustic Storms of Wrath" ,the crushing new recording from the band Terrorizer Magazine described as having "...a solid groove throughout which is accompanied by the speed and intricacy you would expect from a Slayer release..."
