"Es war an einem 20. Februar. Das Thermometer zeigte 11 Grad minus und die Uhr 11 Uhr vormittags, als vor unserem Haus das Hauptwasserrohr platzte. Im Nu war die Straße überschwemmt und im gleichen Nu gefroren. Die umliegenden Kinder kamen zuhauf, um auf ihren Schuhen schlitt zu laufen. Ich selbst konnte mich an diesem fröhlichen Treiben nicht beteiligen, weil ich noch nicht geboren war. Das Ereignis fand erst gegen Abend statt. Und da war die Eisbahn längst gestreut und unbrauchbar geworden. Das Eislaufen habe ich bis heute nicht gelernt. Auch schwimmen kann ich nicht. Aber zeichnen! Also zeichne ich hochachtungsvoll .....
