Heliotrope

Most of the members know each other since high school and since then they are making music in different constellations. Heliotrope in the first basic formation became real and serious as a band during their first studio production. Heliotrope has often played as support for other bands like e.g. The Soundtrack of our Lives, Isolation Years, Karate, HGH, Paperbags or Juno .Moreover, they gained recognition at the Triebwerk-Contest and from the local radio station Eins Live within the scope of its heimatkult program. Heliotropes music reflects the close and constant friendship of its members. By this charm they win the favour of a lot of new listeners.As the band had such a good deal of ideas which they could not realize single-handedly in 2004, they sought Christians assistance and he became the bands fifth creative mind. By now they can perform the electronic features of the songs not only in a sound studio but also live on stage. So one could say this was the beginning of the present Heliotrope. This little rearrangement brought Heliotrope new possibilities, ideas and motivation for further songs to be recorded in 2005. The demo/06 shows their renewed sound and their skills in making people dance: pushing songs between electro and indie now even improve themselves in perfect pop attitude!
