Some people call me a dreamer,
Others call me a believer.
Some say laughter erupts when a thought of me crosses their mind;
Others remain solemn as I pass on by.
Some feel the music beating from my heart,
Others sing along as they try to find their part.
Some wonder why I'm still single,
Others know it's the hurt I carry from other people.
Some enjoy my youthful spirit;
Others take advantage of my kindness within it.
What will they all know of me I fathom,
When my life beats its final rhythm?
Will they sigh of relief knowing I am gone,
Or remember my life with a beautiful song.
I pray I leave a great legacy,
So generations to come will remember me.
Let my life be one for others
And before I leave can help another.
