Get Your Own! | View SlideshowNative Pride was born in Oklahoma City, OK and was left by his mother so she could persue her addiction to drugs, alcohol and gambling. She also decided that she could leave him alone at 6 months for more than 3 days at a time so she could get a fix. By the age of 2 his adopted family will tell you that he had already felt, seen and been through more then most other children. His uncle intervened and rescued him from the dangerous life stlye his mother had exposed him to. His Uncle (dad) and Aunt (mom) did not have much to offer him but love and knowlege they had received from their walk through life. They were poor and often moved because they did not have money for the bills or for the rent. However they noticed he had a love for music. He was self taught on a old rusty piano that was out of tune but the family would just sit around and sing what they felt. By age 9 he was known as Satan's Enemy and was part of a group by the name of C.O.P.S. (Christians on Patrol Shift). He performed in Cleveland, Toledo, and "Bellecompton". By 11 he was performing with D.A.R.E. officers to influence his peers to not partake in the new found addictions that tear families apart on a daily basis. When he graduated High school he joined the United States Air Force to ensure his future would not be like the one that was to death or lock up. Shortly after he joined, he focused more on cultivating his image and music style. He eventually came up with Native Pride. His name meaning, uniting all races to take arms and help those who suffer a life only because of their surroundings. He believes that we are the ones that effect a community and we can force a revolution of change! We all can influence each other and just by a simple greeting we can make others better off. If we believe in the fundamentals and know that God is the center of what we need to move on we can move mountains!
